Are Your Clothes Fitting Snug After The Holidays? Get Back In Shape With Chino Hills Boot Camp In 30 Days Or Less

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) January 12, 2012

The average American gains a pound or two of fat over the holiday season. While this may not sound like a lot, it can make pants feel uncomfortably tight and researchers say that these pounds tend to add up over the years, when people fail to lose what they’ve gained. Over the last few years, Chino Hills boot camp has been helping residents shed unwanted pounds, tone up, get fit, and transform bad habits into healthy ones.

“Getting started in the New Year is the easy part,” says The Camp Boot Camp’s Alejandra Font. “The hard part is staying motivated over the following two weeks when you’re spending hours at the gym and feeling anxious to see the fruits of your labor. When left to their own devices, most people drop off and start making excuses like, ‘Well, I’m just too busy today’ or ‘I’ll just work out tomorrow instead.’ Before they know it, they’re wasting all the money they paid for their gym memberships. We make sure that doesn’t happen. We hold people accountable for their success. I know all my people by name. If you’re not in my class, I’ll call you on the phone to make sure you’re okay. That sort of thing really makes a difference.”

Along with providing three hour-long, fat-blasting workouts each week, the Chino Hills boot camp also sets people up with customized monthly meal plans. “Weight loss is 80 percent diet,” says Sam Bakhtiar, owner of The Camp Boot Camp in Chino Hills. “What good is it to build rock-solid abs that are obscured by three inches of fat? We sit down with our new members and talk about their nutritional likes, dislikes, allergies, weaknesses, and goals. If you have diabetes, we have a meal plan for you. If you fall prey to sugary snacks, we have a solution for you. If you have a modest food budget, we’ll make sure the foods we recommend stay in that range. We’re not going to mandate that you go out and buy all these expensive supplements or shakes. We believe in sound nutrition principles — like eating a balance of lean protein, fruits and vegetables, complex carbs and low-fat dairy. But we also understand it can be challenging to follow abstract philosophies, so we spell it out for you with a month-by-month, daily meal schedule.”

The Chino Hills boot camp exercises include squats, lunges, jumping jacks, push-ups and other familiar movements combined into powerful sets. The routines are easy-to-follow and the trainers offer modifications for each exercise to make it easier or harder. There are periods of rigorous intensity, followed by periods of recovery, which studies show improves fat loss. The combination of cardio, strength training and core conditioning revs up people’s metabolisms and builds muscle – two ends which contribute to greater calorie burn outside of the gym as well. The average program participant loses 8-10 pounds in 30 days and continues to consistently lose two pounds a week as long as he or she sticks with it.
