So one of the big mistakes most guys make when they’re first getting started and trying to build muscle is that they work out too often. They’re trying to work out almost every day. Most people, when they go to the gym, think that more is better. The more I work out the better results I’ll get, right? If I work out 3 days a week, my results won’t come as quickly as they would if I worked out 6 days a week, right? Well it’s counter intuitive but that’s actually not the case. You would actually probably grow faster if you lowered your workout frequency and you just tried working out 3 days a week instead. The reason why is because your muscles don’t grow when you’re in the gym. They grow outside of the gym when you’re resting. So personally I like to do Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays.
