Chris Cranston, MPT, CCRP, owner of FlowDog, is a licensed physical therapist whose lifelong love for animals has driven her to apply her skills and knowledge to small animal rehabilitation in the Boston area. Chris was certified as a Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner in June 2004 through the University of Tennessee and Northeast Seminars. She is one of the first 100 individuals to earn this status. Chris has a Masters of Physical Therapy (1989) and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology (1987) from the University of Iowa. She has 13 years of experience in human physical therapy including hospital-based rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedics, and sports medicine. Prior to moving to the Boston area in 2002, she was manager of the Sports Medicine Department at Wardenburg Health Center at the University of Colorado–Boulder. Chris also enjoys teaching and was a member of the clinical faculty in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, School of Medicine, University of Colorado Health Sciences Center.
