Protein After Workout: Does It Work? | Build Muscle Fast

Protein after workout: does it work?  www.WeightGainNetwork.com -► Discover How To Gain Weight & Build Muscle Fast! Protein after workout? Does it really increase muscle growth? Watch the video to find out or read below… If you want to gain muscle mass in the most efficient way, then eating protein after your workout is essential. In this article we’ll cover why eating protein after a workout is necessary for fast growth, how much protein you should be eating, and what protein sources you should use. Most guys in the gym are hard at work, stacking plates on a barbell, blasting out another rep or two of squats, or curling a set of dumbbells until it feels like their arms are going to fall off. But what happens after your workout? Do you know how to prime your body for muscle growth after you’ve just fully exhausted your muscles at the gym? Unless you are paying attention to what you eat after your workouts (and not just how much you lift) your gains will come slower than necessary. You see, unless you are feeding your muscles properly, they won’t get nearly as big as you would like. The best nutrient you can feed your body after a hard workout is protein. The reason eating protein after your workouts is so incredibly important is that it’s the main nutrient involved in repairing and building muscle tissue. When you are in the gym pumping out rep after rep, all you’re really doing is working to break down muscle tissue. It’s only through the damage and eventual repair of this tissue that your muscles get

@aifusatiluj women tend to not hardly build any muscle, only very little… the male hormone testostorome is what we thank for muscle/strength..

You don’t need a fast acting protein after your workout, its a myth. Whey protein and casein protein both cause equal protein synthesis. Look up this study on PubMed: “Ingestion of casein and whey proteins result in muscle anabolism after resistance exercise.” This study is only true if you have proper prew/o nutrition. The insulin elevation produced from your prew/o meal can last long after your workout. You’d only need to eat something post w/o is you are lifting while fasted.

So if im 5’6″ how much protein will i need a day? and ive heard that pure sources of protein such as meat are better than powders because they are basically muscle itself, just dead muscle, is that correct?

  13. baudyb says:

I am 6″ and weigh 225 lb. Am not trying to bulk up, just trying to lose all my fat and turn it into muscle…basically get toned. Should I be consuming protein given that I have enough fat in my body? Am not to get all buff. Just want definition.

  14. DontTread0nMe1776 says:

@bloodmage478 Yeah, I always heard 1 gram per pound of body weight which would be 2.2 grams per kilogram.

I’m fifteen years old, I add about ten reps to my work outs every week. ( I do squats, Crunches, Push ups, Lift weights All the basic workouts. I’m not getting much results.. I certainly have had results, just not what I wish.. (And I do have protein shakes after my workouts.. Does being a teenager affect me in anyway?

  16. bloodmage478 says:

1.5 or 2 grams per kg ,not pounds . Too much intake of protein is harmful .

I’m a 34yr old woman and I want to build muscle. Should I be doing the same? I’ve muscles in my arms, legs, buns, etc but it’s not obvious enough. I want it to have a more prominent shape.
