I’m talking crazy muscle, where you’ll have imaginary lat syndrome Can’t fit into doorways and you wear a fanny pack all the time. You understand what I’m saying? Well if you want to worship at the temple of buffness, you need to follow these rules. And then you too can oil yourselves up and head out to the beach. Wait, why would I want to do that? I know a thing or two about bulking up, having done it poorly (OH GOD) and having done it right myself. Here are the three diet secrets without fail that you should use to evaluate progress. Bulking lies in eat properly and working out effectively. This video will cover the eating portion. Most people use the excuse of bulking to eat whatever the hell they want. 1. Eat for your body type. Do you get fat just looking at bagels? Or are you a hardgainer that needs to slug in 5000 calories to put on some muscle? In other words, know your body type. I have whats called a spend-thrift metabolism, which means I use my calories very efficiently, so I do not need to eat much to gain lean muscle. You might be different, everyone is unique. Generally speaking, the leaner you are, the more sensitive your insulin is and the more carbohydrates you can eat. A great evaluation to test if you are eating too much is the waist test. Measure your waist every 2 weeks

@sg72792 yea I heard between 30-50 It depends on your body. The rest is a waste

  3. sg72792 says:

@23eirish I think I read somewhere that your body can only use like 40 grams of protein per meal.

  4. 23eirish says:

@sg72792 This video is for beginners with not alot of muscle on them. So if some newbie watches this video that weighs 200lbs, there going to think they need to eat 300 grams of protein. And the body can take in so much protein in one meal, your body might not even be able to take in all 100 grams of protein in 1 meal

  5. sg72792 says:

@23eirish yes. he is correct. there are many different sources from fitness models, trainers and pro bodybuilders on just how much protein to take. 1 grm, 1.5, or 2 grams of protein per pound of body weight. greg plitt has over 100grms in the morning and 100 grams at night as well as protein during the day and he is 195lbs. he says he consumes over 350 grams. it all depends how much muscle is actually on your body

  6. r8pal says:

Oh, well I thought push-ups made your triceps and pecks bigger?

  7. DaNnYsAwN2k9 says:

@r8pal press ups would be good for toning but thats about it. U need to do bench press or dumbell press instead if possible so that you can add more weight. bicep curls are not a good exercise for gaining mass because your biceps are a very small muscle and it doesnt involve much muscle fibres (relatively) your should do pull ups or lat pulldowns if your want to work biceps as it will work your lats too

  8. r8pal says:

If I did press ups everyday and bicep curls every 2 days after about 6 months do you think I’d gain a lot of muscle?
