@TheRawpowerlifter You’re right man…keep at it. They are suggesting this to a males around 20. You are still young and keep at it. I’m the same way. I was 170 when I came in as a freshman….now I’m a sophomore and 210. Trying to hit where you’re at by senior year.

  4. manansis86 says:

@TheRawpowerlifter they are talking about beginners you’ve been working out for years so you can do that..and their workouts are short because they are really just maintaining their physiques

if i do a 15 minute intense ab workout after everytime every time i work out (about 3 times a week), is that over working my abs? how many times week should i be doing this workout?

  11. TheRawpowerlifter says:

when u say 10 sets do you mean 10 sets for every exersice? or 10 sets for the same muscle?

  18. DGuillen74 says:

A man, I’m in the gym for 2 hours, 5 days a week! I recover from workouts pretty fast, and I do each body part twice a week. Push yourself a bit, don’t be a puss.

  19. coasterforce2 says:

@maxpower0711 lol no you dont what are you talking about? you dont have to change your reps every few weeks lol your lifting a heavy enough weight that your have to struggle to get to 8 reps and if you cant get it to atleast 4 or 5 too much weight and then you change your routine every like month or 2

  20. Victopolis says:

Hey, is an hour really too long??

  21. smexysteo69 says:

    Thanks guys really good info…

  22. shadowkrypton says:

@jeanpoint22 LOL YOU CRACKED ME UP

  23. maxpower0711 says:

why is everyone getting hung up on HOW MANY REPS one should do?! -.- far more important is that you go a 105% every fucking set you do. you’ll be fine doing between 6-12 or even 14 reps. just keep alternating and don’t worry about that too much…

  24. maxpower0711 says:

@coasterforce2 at least thats what people believed in the 80’s 😉 you’ll have to alternate the amount of reps every few weeks, 12-15 reps make your muscles grow just as lower reps do.

  25. Brudd3rBear says:

This is extremely late but what about warm-up sets, do you do those?
