In order to rid yourself of the extra body fat around your midsection, you need to incorporate effective cardio sessions into your fitness plan. You cannot spot-reduce the midsection by doing extra ab exercises like crunches or sit-ups. You first must burn off the body fat through proper cardio to properly define the area. Abdominal training by itself will not do much. Cardio needs to be intense enough to do the trick. Three to four sessions a week of intense jogging, running, the Stairmaster, the elliptical, jumping rope, or biking should be enough to get the process in gear. Swimming, hiking, and taking aerobics classes are beneficial as well. Nothing beats jogging or running. It is the most intense, efficient, and effective method of burning calories. If running outside hurts your joints, try running inside on a treadmill or outside on a dirt path. It definitely is easier on the body. Again, you NEED three to four intense cardio sessions a week to help create a calorie deficit and help rid the body of the fat that covers your abs.     I hate being naturally skinny in 4 weeks I’ve gotten a small six pack but I can’t gain weight no matter what or how I eat also, working on my abdominals everyday Is a bad thing right ?

    @SuperW000t Dude muscle milk is absolute crap! it has a lot of junk in it that is not good for your body. Sure it’s high in protein but there are to many negatives in it. Try buying a whey protein product like the ones in GNC, those are very effective they allowed me to put on 20lbs of muscle. And I don’t get called chicken legs anymore lol. Hope this tip helps ya 🙂

    @TheReaLConstricts im 15 and i need to gain muscle and weight for my football so i drank ”muscle milk” it helps you gain muscle but since me and you arent fully grown you cannot gain that much muscle. o yea and drink the it before you workout i hope it helps. i’m 114 in weight so i hope it helps

    @TheReaLConstricts Woah 14? Calm down a bit first kid, if your trying to look like those teen body builders, don’t, most roid. At your age you should stick with good cardio mostly, don’t neglect your other muscles though. This guy has some great cardio vids to check out. Also take into account how tall you are, keep at it though it’s good to see kids still being active out there!!

    im 105 and i need to gain weight but i work out 45 mins a day. im trying to eat 2100 calories a day so i can burn them off and get muscle. im not sure if its working or not. and im 14
